Jordan Rogerson has been with Jim's Mowing a couple of months. His YouTube channel, Jordan's Mowing, already has around 8,000 subscribers off nine videos, and it is monetised.
He is not full time. He still works at a petrol station 40 hours a week and mows three days. He spends another 10 to 15 hours a week filming and editing. All of it on an iPhone, edited in CapCut.
Six of his customers came from the channel. Most have turned into regulars. His point about why is the most useful thing in this episode. Anyone who books him has already watched him for an hour or more, so there is no trust to build when he arrives. They just want the job done.
He also talks about posting his bad jobs. Early videos got roasted in the comments and he left them up. He reckons he has learned quoting and technique faster because of it.
