Matt Deal left a 14 year software development career for a Jim's Window and Pressure Cleaning franchise. Four months in, he is booked out every week.
The start was rough. His first month landed in the middle of a fuel price spike and he dropped from around $3,000 a week as a developer to a few hundred.
His wife's income carried them through. By late June the work turned, and a high school job helped push one month to around $14,000.
He was already running pressure washing as a side hustle before Jim's.
He explains why he bought a franchise instead of going full time on his own brand, and why the flat fee model beat the other franchise he looked at.
Matt is at 30 five star reviews after four months and expects over 100 by the end of year one. He walks through his review process, his lead response time, and how he converts around 80 percent of the jobs he quotes.
